hi all so i got accidentally 5400 rpm hdd wanted 7200 rpm nevermind that so i just finished building pc and it works fantastic if i get SSD later is it a good combo to have 5400 rom hdd and 120 gb ssd?
It's modest but i would aim for a 240GB SSD (or more) 120GB will fill real fast and you'll wish you got bigger (although this is assuming this is for Gaming since you'll need more space, if it's just for office stuff and general computing 120GB will do fine. Just for reference i have a 128GB SSD but wish i got a bigger one it's worth it. Hope this helps

That's what I've done. My OS sits on a 120GB SSD, and is about 50% filled. I have another SSD for my steam folder. Finally I have some large 5900RPM green type drives for general storage. I have speed where I need it, and lots of space for storage.

It is, but only because I'm using the other drives. I have a larger SSD holding some of my games and if they were on my 120GB drive it wouldn't be. I need to buy a 1TB SSD so I can install more of my games.
