5400 rpm HDD + SSD

hi all so i got accidentally 5400 rpm hdd wanted 7200 rpm nevermind that so i just finished building pc and it works fantastic if i get SSD later is it a good combo to have 5400 rom hdd and 120 gb ssd?

It's modest but i would aim for a 240GB SSD (or more) 120GB will fill real fast and you'll wish you got bigger (although this is assuming this is for Gaming since you'll need more space, if it's just for office stuff and general computing 120GB will do fine. Just for reference i have a 128GB SSD but wish i got a bigger one it's worth it. Hope this helps :)

thx for help its only for gaming and im on budget so i will check out cheap one maybe you know some great brands?

That's what I've done. My OS sits on a 120GB SSD, and is about 50% filled. I have another SSD for my steam folder. Finally I have some large 5900RPM green type drives for general storage. I have speed where I need it, and lots of space for storage.

is that 120 gb ssd enough for you?
