More about choosing cooler 4670k
  1. I have the same CPU at 4.4GHz and get temps around 60-65 though i might just be lucky. This is my cooler.

If you're willing to spend $80, get NH-D15S. Top notch performance, extreme compatibility, 6 years warranty, supreme quiet fans.

If you want cheaper but almost equally good, you can try Scythe Fuma. Le Grand Macho Rt is another massive performer that can fit your case that you can look out for. Although to be honest, Noctua supreme 6 years warranty and wide availability is much better than either.

I would say that IF you can get Scythe Fuma and don't care about high profile RAM, it's the best cooler under $50 that can duke it out with >$80 cooler. Just the fan isn't very good quality (crap, tbh).
  3. *cough* watercooler.... I have a 4070K @ 4.5 I use a LS120 from Enermax.

I agree with hellowworld. It's seen my 4690K through the past year without issue. I'm a gamer so it's not been babied. I did add a second fan to my Evo. Speaking of not being babied http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-3084719/4690k-reasonable-temps.html shows my 4690K's temps. through varying load levels.

    Where is that available?
  6. If that's what I think it is

At $60 that's a very bad buy vs Scythe Fuma ($50), which is almost on equal footing with NH-D15.
