Alright so I finished this build about a week ago. The problem I am having is: when the pc turns on. I have a electrical switch controlling the outlets in my room in which were messed with. The pc boots up for about 4 seconds then immediately shuts back down. It boots when I flip the psu switch or the wall switch, but am unable to turn it on via the power button, As it shuts back down using the first two methods. I'm guessing this is a simple electrical input/output issue, but I am uniformed in that domain..
(Note I shut it down the last I used it.)

Specs:
Sabertooth 990FX R2.0
AMD FX 8370 Vischera
GSkill Sniper 16gb @ 1866mhz
XFX RX 470 4GB
EVGA SuperNova G2 650w

Probably the easiest thing to do is rule out the location the computer is plugged in at. I'd suggest trying to move...

I personally would refrain from using an outlet that's tied to a light switch. I'm not saying you can't use it, I just wouldn't because it puts more risk to the system. A simple flip of the light switch (accidental or on purpose) and your computer powers off. It's not good to immediately cut the power from a computer, it can cause issues with the system.

Has the computer every powered on using the power button on the tower?

If not, do you have the power button header plugged into the jumper correctly on the motherboard?

Yes, I've been using the case power button this whole time.
My motherboard standby light comes on, but I am unable to use the button on the case. The PSU runs case fans in self check and everything comes on for as long as I said. Funny enough, the cable box on the opposite wall isn't working either. But my monitor, tv, xbox, strereo, or router have no problems and are connected to that same wall. Building the thing I had a problem getting it to turn on, and that was just because of a useless fan connection.
Here is another scary thing: When I flip that wall switch the computer is the only thing affected by it.

Probably the easiest thing to do is rule out the location the computer is plugged in at. I'd suggest trying to move your computer to another location in your home and plug it in to a completely different outlet and see if you continue to have issues with turning it off and on.
