optane is not mentioned.
optane is not even in the manual.

IIRC optane is basically SSD caching with a nvme SSD that has a super fast memory block that can be used as RAM. All of this requires an Intel chipset and optane M2 SSD.

I think the reference there was the SSD cooling shield, not the motherboard. the cooling shield is fine with both drives but optane has more requirements and will not work with an AMD chipset.

That's what I thought. So it is a generic image they use then. This can be pretty deceiving for some person that see's this picture and know nothing about Intel Optane.
