Hello
I have a pc build with a 970 gpu and a 700 watt PSU. Im thinking of upgrading to a Gtx 1080 ti. but i dont know if i have the right pin connectors. What i have on my psu is one 8 pin and one 6 pin with an additional 2 pin. Can i use this combination to make the 1080 ti work

Solution
Yes, it has all the connectors you need. What your PSU have is technically 2x 8-pin PCIE connectors - which is the maximum number of connectors the GPU can accommodate.

Depending on what GTX 1080 Ti you will buy, if it needs 2x 8-pin PCIE connectors, then just plug all of those PSU PCIE cables (i.e., 1x 8-pin + 1x 6+2 pin). If it only needs 1x 8-pin + 1x 6-pin, then just plug the 1x 8-pin and the 1x 6-pin (leaving the 2-pin unplugged).
