Today when i booted my computer, the gpu fans started spinning unbelievably fast and loud but nothing was showing up to my screen, i turned the computer off and tried with on-board graphics but nothing showed once again.
When i try to boot the computer, absolutely nothing comes to the screen even though computer recognizes the monitor. Also the red mobo leds which are usually on breath mode are now still like the motherboard has crashed or something. I have tried out different ram stick placement, taking cmos battery out and different monitor just in case but nothing. Computer has worked perfectly for the past 4 months.

Solution
Try minimal build: disconnect everything except CPU, its cooler, one stick of ram, monitor connected to motherboard. If nothing, install case beeper (if not already installed) and try without ram. If you get no sound at start, then either PSU, motherboard or CPU has failed. Since you get fans/leds working, in such case motherboard is suspect no 1.
