Hey guys so I got a new gaming pc a few months ago it's and i7 with 8gb ram and a gtx 1070 8gb, anyways I connect my pc through wireless USB adapter from Tp link today I started up my pc and everything is freezing when I click on stuff things don't open and it doesn't connect to wifi either. What's going on?

If problem continues, change to a different brand of WiFi adapter, I don't rate TP-Link stuff very highly at all, definitely a brand to avoid in my experience.

I would also avoid using WiFi at all on a fixed-location desktop PC if at all possible.

WiFi is primarily for portable devices.
