So I'm looking to get a wifi booster for my bedroom as our router can't reach my room with good connection. Should I get the Netgear mini v300 or the tp link 600. I already have the tp link av500 wired powerline adapters for my pc so would it be better to go for the TP Link one?

Solution
You're already using the power line adapters from the router for a wired connection in your room ??

If so I'd just buy a cheap tplink router to use as a wireless access point & switch.
Its cheaper & will work better (if your power line speeds are decent?)

Absolutely it will mate.
I use the 841 (the 300mb twin aerial) as I have 200mbs internet speeds .
Use mine connected to a powerline plug in the conservatory to feed the whole garden with the interweb ;-)

Requires a tiny bit of setting up but I can help with that when you get it.

Yep when I want to use wireless ill plug the Ethernet out if my PC and into the router

Yep all good then mate.

You dont really need to do that.
Router has 4 ports & comes with an Ethernet cable

You plug from home plug to router with one cable , PC to router with the other.

Just leave it switched on & you have hardwired Ethernet & wireless at the same time.
