Hey guys. I just recently started my first build. Below are the specs that I am having trouble with.

Intel i5-6500 processor
MSI 110m-Gaming motherboard
X2 Elite+ 8GB DDR4 2133

The DIMM2 slot was not reading one of my RAM modules, so I checked both if them in the first slot and they both booted up without any problems. So I turned up the voltage +.06 and then placed the other module in. It began to boot then the CPU light was indicated on the motherboard. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can use both my sticks? Or do I just need to replace my motherboard entirely?

I do not know exactly but I would sugest updating the bios to 7994v59 and try its supposed to fix memory incompatability

BIOS
have a fresh formatted FAT32 USB stick download the bios from motherboard manufacturer stick the bios you just downloaded on USB stick recommend at least 2 bios's re-boot press the delete button repeatedly to get into bios select update select usb device flash it leave it to do its thing then you should be good with new bios

You have tried using only 1 ram stick in the second slot and not tried using the other ram stick in the second slot, is that right? If not, then correct me please.
I agreewith RARRAF, try updating the BIOS to the latest version. BTW, it is to note here that your X2 Elite+ 8GB DDR4 2133 memory is not listed in the compatibility list of the specified motherboard.

I updated the BIOS already. It still didn't work.
