Which GPU Should I Go For?

I am planning to upgrade my GPU. I have an Athlon X4 860K (I know this is old and not a great processor, so bear with me) but I plan to upgrade that to a Ryzen processor in the next six months. I currently have 16gb DDR ram - I plan to buy a similar amount of DDR4 when I get the Ryzen.

I predominently use my PC for image processing in photoshop and lightroom and I also do some gaming - BF4 and various racing games - DIRT rally, Project Cars, Assetto Corsa that sort of thing.

I have about £240 to spend. My initial thought was to get a 1050TI, but I was wondering if I might be better buying either a 1060 - either 3 or 6gb or a 8gb RX 480 to futureproof my system.

If I get the 1050, I will spend the rest of the money on a large HDD or a smallish SSD

Any suggestions as to which card I should go for with a view to the future?

Solution
well, if you plan to upgrade to modern CPU this year, I'd recommend going for RX 580/480 4GB or at least RX 470/570 4GB.
the 1050Ti is too close in pricing to RX 470 and 1060 3GB is not worth it.
