USB device Disconnects then reconnects

My laptop is having issues again first it was beeping when a program stops responding now it is reconnecting for no reason with out touching anything on the device.

does it show a message that says that device stopped responding?

do you have any usb device connected when this message appears?

have you checked the usb ports on the laptop in search of dust accumulated inside or perhaps any broken pin that could end bent inside?
