Energy Saving Mode Killing Motherboard?

Hello Everybody

First of all sorry for any bad English as it's not my first language.

I'm aware that there are a lot of posts about people not being able to start their computers and guides how to fix it. I've tried a lot of fixes and nothing helped so that's why I'm writing this now.

A quick recap what happened and what I did:
I left my PC in the Energy Saving mode for about 24h, because I accidentally pressed Energy Saving mode instead of Shutdown when I wanted to SHut it down. Then I was too lazy to boot it up again and shut down properly. So after 24h in Energy Saving I turn the PC on again, all my programs are still open, and the PC runs for about 3 sec until it abruptly turns off without me pressing anything.

I tried to start the pc again by pressing the power button of the case which didn't work. So I tried to start the PC with the onboard power button on the motherboard which also didn't work.
So I thought it might be a problem with the PSU (maybe the Motherboard isn't getting enough power) so I began dissasembling my PC and after every part I took out (Soundcard, GPU, etc) I tried to turn the PC on again but without succes. So I had my pc completely stripped with only the CPU and one RAM left and connected my old PSU, whereas the PC still wouldn't turn on. So there might not be a problem with the PSU.

Now I tried to place the motherboard on a cardboard box, and turn it on to make sure there isn't any shortage with the case as I had this problem when I first assebled the PC about 2 years ago. And to my dissapointment the PC didn't power on.

Then I tried to clear CMOS by taking out the CMOS Battery and putting it back in. This didn't solve my problems either. I even replaced the CMOS Battery with a comletely new one but still my PC won't turn on.

And now I really don't know what to do anymore as I tried all the fixes I read of or knew.

Just for info in general:
- The motherboard LEDs are working (if that is important).
- The Debug LEDs light on for about 1/10 sec and show the number '00'. They only turn on once after powering on the MB after it was completely powered off. This means after plugging the MB back in to power and I press the power button the '00' will show, every following pressing of the power button won't turn the debug LEDs on again (only if I disconnect and connect the MB to power again)

My Specs:
Motherboard: MSI Z170A Gaming M7
PSU: be quiet! POWER ZONE 850W
CPU: Intel Core i7 6700K

I hope someone can help me with my problem as I really don't want to buy a new motherboard.

Your English is rather good, no need for the disclaimer lol.

Thats odd, there should be a switch at the bottom of the mobo turn that to on and try to boot again. Its "slow mode" as msi calls it, it tries to get the mobo to boot again after a failed overclock, if the eco mode did screw something up I am hoping that will reverse it.

How long did you have the CMOS battery out for? It wont clear instantly and may not clear at all if the board was plugged into power at the time. You should follow the steps for clearing the cmos in your manual it probably involves moving a jumper on the mobo, you can clear cmos my removing the battery but it is not the proper way to do it.

Error 00 is pretty much useless unfortunately, from my understanding its the mobo telling you there is a problem but it has no idea what.

I tried the slow mode and it didn't work. The Battery was out for about 5min several times, but now I will try to leave it out for several hours. Will post updates if it worked.

UPDATE: So I left the CMOS battery out for about 6 hours, and put it back in. The PC still won't start unfortunately.
Is it possible that the CPU is damaged and that's why it won't power on? I used to overclock it a little bit, but I'm not sure if a CPU is able to brick itself so fast as it's only 2 years old.
