Hello,
I have been recently having problems with my computer in regards to crashing. It crashes randomly to a static screen (similar to what you see on a disconnected TV but with some pink and black spots here and there), and then a black screen, and this loops over and over again. This happens sometimes during gaming or just sitting at the desktop, and requires a hard reset to work again. When gaming, the audio does a rapid whirring sound and stops working ( no audio looping). This has never happened before since I built this computer in late 2015 and only started happening in the past 2 weeks. I have tried reinstalling drivers, and going back to a previous version of windows 10. The reversion seemed to help a bit, but it still happens on occasion. Has anyone seen this before as well? Could it also be a hardware issue in conjunction with software?
My specs:
FX-8350 @4.4 GHz
Asus 970 pro gaming aura
gtx 980 classified not overclocked
EVGA 750w GQ
16Gb (4x4Gb) Kingston ram @ 1866 MHz
