games not opening on pc

hi there im having some trouble trying to open my games on my pc.uhm it keeps failing the pc keeps telling me xinput error.
secondly I haven't installed gpu drivers yet could that be the problem coz I have. no idea whats going on.(first build by the way)

Why have you not installed the graphics drivers? That is almost certainly the problem, that is a directx dll file that you may not even have on your pc without the drivers. If your games did launch they would almost certainly run terrible without the driver as well.

oh ok so that's basically it? u sure theres no other programs or anything needed just for a heads up. coz I have also encountered this DIRECT X thing error installation

Well you should grab the chipset, audio, sata, and LAN drivers for your mobo if you have not already, they are available on your mobo manufacturers website, or the disc that came with your mobo but those are likely older versions of the drivers. But I dont think the lack of any of those would cause directx errors.

I would install the gpu drivers, if you still get directx errors after that let me know and I will try to figure out why.

ok I did as you said but now it works with certain games like when I only install the c++2 thing (whatever that is) I tried call of duty infinity warfare seems to work and DMC
