boot up display problem

hi there guys. just upgraded to an msi gtx 1050 gpu. im having this problem that when i boot my pc up, i get the bios menu and stuff, then i get a black screen with a white bar across it, then it boots normally.
i dont understand why im getting this and wonder if its driver elated (although im on the latest drivers for everything! please let me know if there is a solution to this or at least an explanation as to why this white bar thing keeps occurring.

Try a different connection type. Aside from the black bar it's working fine? Did you check with MSI support or test the card in another system to see if the issue is with the card?

ive not yet. i might go and see a pc technician and then request a replacement card if we cant get it to work. thanks for you help and yes everything else is working fine aside from the fact that reimage repair states that i do have problems which need to be fixed. thanks.
