Hello, I am creating a budget build and I have to decide between these two. In my local Cex (webuy) store, the Gigabyte GTX 670 is 72€ and the ASUS Direct CU 2 GTX 760 is 80€. My PSU is a Corsair VS450W and I cant change it.
As far as I know, the GTX 670 is better. My processor is a core quad q9550 which I can overclock if I got bottlenecked, I have 4 x 4 DDR2 RAM. I think powering these cards with my current system wont be a problem. I' d rather buy the 670, what do you think?

Solution
The 1050 is not an upgrade, it's in the same performance class. It is newer and uses much less power is where it is better so if those don't matter to you there's no reason to ever go from a 760 or 670 to a 1050, we just suggest it as a viable option.

So going by what you've said, pick the 670. Unless there's enough of a price difference to matter - in which case pick whichever is cheaper.

The 450 can't handle the 670.

The 670 is slightly better. The power supply is theoretically just about sufficient, but I wouldn't recommend it for either of these cards.

For power consumption they're about equal. The 760 is a more cut-down chip, but runs at higher clocks to compensate; that makes the 760 slightly less power-efficient.

That PSU had been running a 760 just fine till last year when I had to move it to another build. I think I will go with the 670 but, if their consumption is similar, why does the gigabyte 670 have one 8 pin and one 6 pin connector? The 760 just has one 8 pin

My psu does have 2 6+2 power connectors. My only worry is if the PSU isnt able to give it enough power.

Well the 2 cards are close enough that you won't notice a difference either way so pick whichever.
They 670 tends to be marginally faster overall but in some games the 760 wins. They will still play the same games at the same settings as each other regardless.

I still say 1050, or even 950-960

Id like to buy one of those, but my money is inside cex (had to process 1 item warranty) and the gtx 960 is 40 euro more expensive, and I cant even buy a 1050 because they dont sell it.
The only cards which are in my money range are those, thats why i only consider them. Maybe after a month or 2 of usage i will sell it and buy a 1050, who knows.

More overclocking headroom. Nvidia's reference design for the 670 has two 6-pins, which is equivalent to a single 8-pin.

Now, another question. Will my corsair VS 450w be capable of powering the gigabyte gtx 670?

This same psu powered a gigabyte 760 in my current system a year ago, and in the power supply calculator I get that the power load of the system should be around 350w. So can I use my PSU?
