I'd try a bootable copy of Memtest86. I had this same BSOD on my HTPC awhile back. I had errors from the test that I was able to correct with a small bump in DRAM voltage. In my case, the 1.2v set by XMP was a little low with my specific motherboard, as the UEFI was showing 1.196. I manually set to 1.23 and fixed the problem.

So I have 8gb ram installed but only have 1.5-2 gb usable. Is that the reason why my pc is crashing? When my pc is restarted, usable gb is 6.4, but at a period of time opening and closing video games, videos, and google, I recheck the ram and it is 1.5 gb.

Seems you could have a memory leak as well. Which operating system version are you using? Is there a program in task manager that seems to be using a lot of resources? I'm using 16GB in Windows 10, and when I'm browsing the web and basically idle, I float around 3GB being used. Same after exiting games.

I am using windows 10, and when I check what program is using up a lot of memory the highest one I see is only using 1gb.

are these any good replacements for 280gb hard drive and 8gb ram?

What motherboard are you using? I'm using same HDD model in my HTPC. Works great. The RAM you chose although a great brand, also use myself, but you selected DDR3L. This is low voltage 1.35v, version. It may be picky on boards it works properly with. I'd check to see if there is more standard DDR3 1.5 available.
