So my s7 edge has been acting up recently. I took it with me swimming earlier today for a few minutes just with it in my hand to a depth of about 2 feet at most. Now my back light button doesn't work anymore and it keeps getting pressed automatically. The back buttons light doesn't work and also the back button itself doesn't work either by me pressing it. When I'm texting the back button will get pressed and just take me out of the app which is annoying. Also the top right of the screen gets pressed by any button that's there. Usually it's a menu type of thing such as in the messaging app, it shows the contacts details.

Is there anything I can do to fix my phone? Thank you in advance

Solution
My friend had a Grand Prime but dropped it in water and it was stuck on an infinite loading screen on startup. She ordered a new J5 and a few days after her Grand Prime worked again. Try giving the phone some time. Try minimally taking the phone apart and have it dry such as in packets dry rice. Otherwise, take it to one of those phone fixing stores which are all over the place.

sorryboi

@sorriboi the rice thing worked. Left it in rice for 16 hours, back button working as it used to but the light of the back button no longer works which is no problem to me.
