Do I actually suck at games?

Greetings. I have been playing many games on multiple consoles for long amounts of time- and I suck at all of them. Literally, I can not recall any game that I am actually average or above average. For example, put csgo which I have played for 3 years and a few hours each day most days and I'm still silver 2, the second to lowest rank in the game. I have tried using tutorials, tweaking with settings, etc. The hardware I have for games is fine and so is internet (if the game requires internet). I have tried installing cheats but not for online- only for single player fun but I rather tend to lose a lot of fun when I do things like that. I have also been trying to find new things to do on PC but I have never found anything to do- having a hard time finding a full-time hobby if I do in fact suck at every game that is to come. Could I have been playing games incorrectly for a decade or am I just?? Because of how I do in games,

Sounds like you need a online mentor. Someone to train you in games. Usually joining a clan is a great way to achieve this. Now if your asking if you suck at a game chances are you do, no offense. Some games do have steep learning curves though and CS is one of them only because there are so many good players (and cheaters)...the quake franchise is another. See if you can join a clan or find a good player to train you. That is my best advice.

In all seriousness, I would try and find some videos on YouTube for tips and tricks to become a better gamer for the games you like to play.

Nah a good clan will be happy to train you for free. As would a good player with a heart. Ask around. For example if you'd like to learn Quake (ie quake 3 arena, quake Live, Quake champions) I would be happy to help. X pro here for Quake franchise. Clan Atomic is well known in gaming and been around for 20+ years. PM me if interested.

I don't have money for quake.
I have money for tetris though.
All the games I have are actually presents like holidays. I have barely bought any.

lol.... sometime I get fragged so bad I think that myself you get a server or a clan server that's got there die hard guys that play 24/7 know all the tricks aim bots what ever you cant stand a chance . like I use to be big on ETQW theres been games I got in to that you spawn take 2 steps and THUD dead as a door nail and take a few spawns to get clear and a chance to play some . lol.....

my buddies nephew and quake 3 ?? no fun playing with him skyhook and rail gun is a easy one shot kill from across the map when your running full speed . you get in a game with a handful of guys like him in it and you will think how bad you suck at it for sure

Just to make sure I put the correct emphasis on that...I was told this after ignoring everyone yelling at me for going the "wrong way" and in doing so catching the last enemy completely by surprise and killing him without taking a single hit.

I'm glad I find a lot more to life then a game to be that way over one . must be all that guy has going in life and takes it that seriously ,
