PSU Compatible With RX 580?

So I currently run an FX 6300, overclocked to 4.3 @ 1.3v, and a GTX 960 overclocked by like 100mhz using a 6 pin connector. My power supply is a standard EVGA non modular 500w 80+ (100-W1-0500-KR I think)

I am planning on buying a graphics card under $300, preferably under $270 or so. I initially had my aim locked on an MSI 1060 that has the same TDP and 6 pin requirement as my 960. I found the 580 to generally be a better deal for better performance, but I'm extremely wary about pushing more than my PSU can handle, or even being anywhere near it's limits for that matter. I'm not entirely certain what all I need to think about when it comes to power supplies, so I'm just wondering if it'll blow up if I plug a 580 into it, if I should stick with the 1060.

Solution
It won't blowup anything up the PSU has built in protections.

I own the Sapphire Radeon NITRO+ RX 580 8GB Limited Edition

Yeah I'm aware, it was just sort of to get my foot in the door. I was intending on upgrading it to like a 650 or 750 with a gold rating later on down the road but for now I just wanna know this won't blow up for a good while, are you sure?
