Should I upgrade CPU or GPU?

So I like streaming so I was kinda confused as to what I should do. Currently I got a R9 380X and a I5 6500 they do good in gaming paired, but in streaming I loose 20-30 frames, so I was wondering would it be better to go with a RX 580 8GB or should I go with a Ryzen 5 1600(Non X) with 70-80 dollar MOBO? I do know the Ryzen will not get affected much while streaming due to 6 cores 12 threads, but will the RX 580 do more for me? I also got 16GB DDR4 Ram at 2133 MHz, Ryzen performs best with higher speeds, but dont got the money for that.

Solution
Why not go I7 your board will support it and you do not even need to mess with your OS install. Surely easiest and cheapest solution.

Will that be better than Ryzen 5? I stream as well and streaming takes 25-35 percent of my CPU just to stream, so I prob wont get full potential from GPU. 95 Percent of the time I am streaming my CPU cant even keep up with my R9 380x.

I would say go with the R5 processor. Streaming with AMD is often far better than intel. Both are good options, so it really depends what you value more. If you get the Rx 580 streaming might improve slightly, and while you are not streaming you will get ~20% of an improvement in games. The 1600 will give you significantly better streaming performance, however your general gaming performance may actually take a slight dip - Ryzen has very slightly worse IPC then intel.

Hope this helps!

What I7 would you recommend in the 300-320 dollar range? Also will that give a bigger FPS jump than the GTX 1060 or RX 580?

Ive seen the Ryzen perform around 5 percent better in games, so the gaming is the same although streaming is very big. People say that there Ryzen 5 gets 0 frame loss while streaming while there I5 gets around 20-40 frame loss.

A consumer i7, that is, on the LGA115x socket would only have the advantage of hyperthreading. Buying a new motherboard and R5 CPU would be about the same price is you buy a cheapish B350 board, which also supports overclocking without an expensive chipset.

Honestly getting ryzen 5 is cheaper, because it is about $100 cheaper than the i7, and a B350 motherboard will probably be less than $100 (the A320 on you have listed doesn't support overclocking) and you get an additional 2 cores and 4 threads for streaming over the i7.

Hope this helps!

Well ASUS says my MOBO supports Overclocking and it is the https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-Micro-DDR4-Motherboards-H110M-K/dp/B017UL7NKQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1495339194&sr=8-1&keywords=asus+h110m-k will that be good enough to go with the I7 7700 (Non K), cause isnt the 7700 way better than any Ryzen?

I don't think so since it is a H110 but in any case it will work with the I7 and the extra thread capability will sort out the streaming issue.

Yes I know that, although I can get it within 3, plus anything that comes out from now on will be more.

Okay cool, if the I7 7700 is the best option by time I get the money I will get it, although if there is a same price/cheaper, but better performing I will go with it.

I have a question about my MOBO. Why does it have the option to OC if the H110's cant OC?

Where exactly are you seeing ASUS saying that this board has the option to overclock? The only reference I see even tangentially related on their own website is the reference to overclocking in the UEFI BIOS, but that's a generic description of software across an entire line of motherboards, not a specific feature of the H110-M.

It was in a Live chat with one of there people.

It would be a mistake to take a comment in some random chat more seriously than the actual list of specs or the advertisement for the motherboard, none of which references overclocking, as far as I can tell.

There is a microcode that disabled non-z overclocking, Just get an RX 580 and use GPU encoding.
