Hello, i am new to this website so apparently i have a question for u guys to helped me out. So i having this problem. I bought GTX 770 recently. But my current PSU only came with 4 pins and other pin. My GTX 770 need a 4 pin and 8 Pin connector. Is there any possible component that can replace to make it to 8 pin connector?

Solution

never heard of 770 with a 12 pin pcie connector :p
i think you meant a 6 pin and 8 pin connector so in that case you will need to upgrade your psu to power your graphics card safely. i do not recommend getting molex to 8 pin connectors since theyre unreliable.
something like this should be fine: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16817438101

I ran my Windforce 770 on a EVGA 500 watt unit for a long time with no issues. A 500 watt power supply should do the trick without spending 80 USD. I would personally get this: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438040&cm_re=evga_500_watt-_-17-438-040-_-Product
