Yesterday, I opened the two side panels for my PC Case because it was getting very hot. After a couple of games I decided to switch off my computer and started to clean the fans inside. I then proceeded to put the case panels back on and opened up my PC to see if it would boost my performance as I heard cleaning the inside of your computer can speed it up. Well, it didn't and now my PC is slow as crap and my disk usage is always at 100%. Is there anyway to solve this? Would a system restore work or do I have to fix my HDD/RAM?

Solution
Physically cleaning out your PC will NOT cause a disk usage spike. Whatever is causing the disk utilization issue was preexisting.
Start with a full virus/spyware scan. You can also use 'resmon' to see what is hammering your disk.
