I'm using a desktop that i gt from dell about a year ago and right now my pc will only function for a few minutes before powering off. When it does that, my pc will completely die and will not be able to power on back unless i leave it for a few minutes. I've manage to narrow down the problem into two main parts which are the psu and the motherboard. I've unplugged all the other parts of the pc leaving the psu and the motherboard connect. What i realised is that when i turn the psu on, the motherboard will power on as usual but then it powers off after a few minutes, causing the psu to not function too. The motherboard and the psu can only function back if i leave it off for a few minutes then powering on back. So i was wondering, what do you guys think is the issue?
