About a month ago my motherboard crapped out on me, and when I took my pc for some diagnosis at a local store they bent the cpu socket pins. Oh well. I replaced the board with the Z270 mentioned above, but received a 00 error on the board when I finally got it all put back together. Thinking that the incident with the motherboard had also damaged the cpu, I purchased a new i7-7700k. Just installed it. I'm still getting the 00 error. What steps should I take next to figure out my problem?

I have the water pump plugged into the cpu fan header, but yes the radiator fans do spin up when the system is started.
I just got back from the store with a multimeter. once i figure out how to use it I will post the results.

Turns out... I'm a dumb ass. I didn't have the power plugged into the cpu on the board. Plugged it in, and now i'm getting an A2 error. I'm going to unplug all of the sata ports and see what happens.

I'm using a tv through HDMI direct from the motherboard. When I first started having problems with the old Z170 mobo I got pissed and formated everything, so I'll have to do a fresh install and drivers set up.
Yeah it's booting now. I didn't notice as I had everything unplugged. I'm still getting a bunch of errors though. Is that just due to the fact that the system is gutted right now, or could there be further problems?
