Hello,

I have an Acer laptop with 8gb ram, i5 7200U, gt 940mx and an SSD(but the steam files are on an HDD). When I play victor vran there are some breaks in the sound even though I have 58-60 FPS. The problem appeared since the first time I downloaded the game in windows 10. I have been playing the same game on Ubuntu and never had this problem. All of my drivers are updated and the only problem I face is within victor vran(I don't play any other games), I have no problems with movies or music. I checked CPU throttling with Aida64, throttling percentage and temperature of cpu was acceptable(I don't remember how much it never went high enough to get the red color in the graph). I also realized that in windows while i play the game the laptop gets hotter than in Ubuntu.

I most probably the problem is with the game as other people are having sound issues as well. What else should I do to exclude hardware/software issue?

Thanks :)

The laptop getting hotter in Windows than in Ubuntu sounds about right, Windows is a heavier OS.

If you're not the only person having the issue, have you put in a "me too" support ticket with the developer of the game?

Edit: That game looks like a ton of fun, actually. I may just have to buy it myself. Look me up on Steam, same name as here.
