Hi! I just built a new system...
Ryzen 5 1600
MSI B350 Tomahawk Arctic White
8g hyperx savage 2133
GTX 1060 6g
EVGA 650w supernova G2 PSU
Crucial 275g ssd
WDBlue 1TB HDD
Now everything boots up fine but it does take about 30 seconds to get to the windows log in screen with OS loaded on to ssd which seems a bit slow to me. System reads both mem sticks and CPU from what I can tell and runs ghost recon wildlands on high at a comfortable 78 FPS AVG.
One thing that concerns me though is that there is a red light on the upper part of the mobo that seems to stay on. I thought maybe it could be the xmp for the ram which I've tried with it on and off but the red light persists. Is this something I should be concerned about? In bios it shows the 8g of ram and shows the name of the CPU installed. Could this be just a simple bios update that would fix this? Any help would be super appreciated, thanks!

If you mean the red led up by the cpu fan header, it's a PITA, it only comes on after the other 4 have gone out, cpu, mem, vga and boot, I spoke to msi about it, it just means system OK, and there is no way to turn it off, they told me if you don't like it, just cover it up with a small black piece of electrical tape. Simply put, red is msi colours, I had it on my b350m mortar and I've got it on my x370 gaming pro carbon too.

just got home and looked at the motherboard. Under the light it says GPU LED.
I did a little more searching on my actual computer today and found a few posts
that say the gpu led light will stay illuminated because the Ryzen cpu's don't have
onboard graphics on the chip. Can anyone confirm if that is why the light stays
illuminated?
