Graphics card question

I just built my own computer and for some reason it starts for a second then all of a sudden my gpu stops and then beeps happen everything else seems to be running but the gpu does this mean my gpu is faulty or my gpu is not compatible or something else i really struggling here any help would be thanked

I have tried everything is perfectly in i think that my gpu may be faulty everything is plugged in and i have reseated the gpu like 10 times i just dont know if my gpu is working maybe i was sent a broken gpu because i was sent a broken power supply from these same people
