Good Day Humans,

I'm planning to buy a unit but my budget are tight I would like to spend every single penny worth :(

I've done a little research on my on but I am not confident i need expert opinion

This is what i have in mind:

Case: Tecware Titan Case Because Is has Acrylic side and a PSU Shroud. + matte color

Processor: i5-7400Kabylake Ill be buying a 7th gen processor to maximize the RAM usage to 2400 instead of 2133 for skylake / and I wont overclock i don't think i need that much power in my system unit / 7400 not 7500 because of budget

MotherBoard: this part is the confusing one .. ill be getting a b250 MOBO since i wont overclock and it support 7th gen kaby but i dont know which b250 to pick I have the following list in mind:
Asus Prime B250M-A
Gigabyte GA-B250M-D3H
MSI B250M Mortar
I picked this 3 since their price are relatively close but dont know what to get for my unit [HELP :(]

GPU: Palit GTX 1060 Dual Fan 6GB Gddr5 : this for the reason ITS CHEAP.. The color is neutral Black and a bit higher base clock on other GPU's

Memory: GSkill Ripjaws V 8GB Dual DDR4 2400: 2400 since ill be getting 7th gen kaby it will maximize the capability of Ram to 2400 on the mobo : only buying 2x4gb budget is tight will be upgrading 4x4gb later on

Storage: 1tg Seagate Barraccuda I have one on hand so I dont need to buy anymore

PSU: another confusing one .. I dont know if i should go for 550 or ill stay with 450w PSU
Corsair VS450 Power Supply
or
Seasonic G-550 550W 80Plus Gold Modular Power Supply
price difference are bit high be is it worth it

Thank you Hoping for the Great Ideas you guys will be imparting me as a 1st time builder
^-^
its ok to change the parts for the better ill be open for that just a reminder im low on resources hahaha

Don't get the 7400, the 7500 is significantly faster and doesn't cost that much more. For the motherboards, doesn't really matter especially if you're not overclocking. I tend to like Gigabyte, but it's preference just pick the one that's colored the way you like. RX 580 is a little faster but with less VRAM and less OC headroom, your choice is fine unless the 580 is a lot cheaper. PSU: ABSOLUTELY the 550W seasonic. The VS units are crap, if you want a 450W then get the CX 450 with the gray label but 550W allows more upgradability to better cards. Don't buy a 4x2 kit of RAM if you buy a mobo with 2 slots. I'd suggest never buying a 4x2 kit but some people think dual channel RAM is SOOOO much faster for some reason.

If you don't have an SSD planned, I'd try and move up storage to an SSHD.

SSD Boot time = 15.6 secs
SSHD = 16.5
HD = 21.2

Not a fan of B series MoBos, if budget can be tweaked, would benefit from H270 for $6 more(at least here in US). Keep in mind that at this price range you'll likely be stuck w/ ALC 892 sound system ... for gamers, we recommend ALC 1150 / 1220 but that will likely add $20-$25

I don't really get the attention / focus being given to 2400 ... quite often you will find sets are very close in price from 2400. If you motherboard supports it go as high as you can w/o breaking your budget.

Getting 2 sticks and then adding 2 later is not recommended. if they don't come in the same package, they are not guaranteed to work.

When budget is tight, I recommend the S12 / M12 series from Seasonis or their newer SSR series (same price as g series) and 9.8 jonnyguru rating

I have zero idea on AMD set up..
reason is the product names are not easy to remember
and the names are redundant

I know they are better and cheaper but im not familiar so if you please suggest a amd build that would be much appreciated
