I'm new to the hardware world and i'm trying to find a good 500+ watt psu to replace my "Antec Basiq BP500U 500W Continuous Power ATX12V Version 2.01 Active PFC Power Supply - Intel Haswell Fully Compatible".

The problem is that I have no idea if the one I want has the same size and screw slots. I found one I really like the "Corsair RMX Series RM650, Fully Modular Power Supply 80+ gold certified", but I have a feeling it won't fit.

What is a good trustable power supply of the same size that allows me every option of pin connector like the one listed above, but is the same size as the present one I have? Thankyou.

Solution
RMx from Corsair is one of the best out there. Good components and good quality. The only thing i would say is: do you really need 650W? You can find a 500~550W PSU and save some bucks.

So are you saying that the new one I found should work in theory?

I don't know which one are you talking about, but meanwhile it have the ATX form, you're ready to go.

I just realized I mistyped the new PSU I found so I fixed that in the description, sorry!

Hi - The height and width of ATX PSU's are standard. The length (how far it extends towards the front) can
differ. So, virtually any ATX PSU you consider is going to fit, and as lucas above mentioned, the screw holes
will line up.

And yes, the RMX650 will fit.
