This is in connection to my other thread based on the question of sound card to add to the SFF optiplex 980 desktop mini tower. As i'm looking at various sound cards and from help of atfjsl's power info. I was looking at the Niveda graphics card that seems to be abundence for this model computer(?) and if i have Realtech as the sound or audio drivers for onboard sound, would it matter if i attached graphics card Niveda that would use totally different drivers as far as i know(?) or it would just acquire its own drivers and no problem to now have new graphics card/sound card that could be accommodated with the electrical unit and be able to fit in the Sff?

Solution
Audio is a completely unrelated topic, that all goes through the motherboard.
Generally optiplex units can have some solid headroom for ITX GPUs, but I'd go with an MSI LP (Low profile) version of the 1050 just to be safe.
They go on Newegg for about 100 or less on sale.
