Maybe on older games like from 2013 but I can't see how it's a 4K PC with the older GTX 980Ti. Especially when GTX 1080 is only $100 AUD more for 20% more performance and even that's not a 4K card.

Also why did you choose that case, just curious?

To game in 4K you just need the 4K support and you need to change the resolution in game to 3840X2160. Now 4k gaming is becoming more and more accessible however you must be aware that even with a 980 ti you will need to turn down some settings in games to get a smooth 60 fps.

CALLUM ur PC and PS4 is suitable for ur new 4k monitor. the things u shows in url link of ur computer? things in that link 100% work for 4k monitor. u can play in any settings ( ULTRA or LOW) bcz ur graphic is awesome for 4K. another ur windows display should also be in 4k resolution. 970 above sires have that 4k resolution. below that card i do know definitely i know about. ENJOY if u bye a 4k display

If you're going to be replacing a card I would honestly wait it out. I just bought a 1080ti and I love it however the fact is volta may be releasing later this year as well as AMD Vega. Lots of big things are happening in the GPU industry right now that it might be worth waiting it out and keeping the 980 ti for now. If you want to upgrade a 1080 or 1080 ti will give you more performance for less or the same price as the 980 ti you have in there now.

I think that you should wait and see. If you like the performance the card gives you and you're fine with turning down a couple settings in some more intense games I would recommend keeping the card. If you want to blast out 60 fps with as high of settings as possible and that's important to you then in your position I'd buy a 1080 ti.

IMHO I think the card you have now is just fine for the games that you are planning on playing and should be able to easily run them in 4k.

For those I'd just get your 4k display and see how they run with the 980Ti. Should be good.
