Hello all,
I'm trying to build a windows 98 gaming pc, using a Pentium 4 PS4D-LA stingray motherboard as the core of the build. I bought an EVGA 650 GQ PSU for power, and an NXZT Phantom case (large case with 5 5.25" bays). Everything is set up but I can't get it to turn on. I figured the motherboard was bad (as it was sitting in my attic for years) so I bought another Motherboard off of eBay.
Hooked it all back up tonight, but still nothing. The CPU fan will spin for a second when the motherboard 20-pin molex is plugged in, but it won't turn on. I tried to turn it on by jumping the power switch pins but nothing. I'm getting a little flustered, as I feel like I'm missing something obvious. I've been working on this for a month and sunk more money into this than I expected. Any help would be truly appreciated, as I'm here to learn and get this working. Just really want to get this going and enjoy all these classic games that have been sitting on my shelf for years.
