I recently bought a couple of Seagate External Expansion drives for storage. Tonight there was an accident where the USB of one of the drives was unplugged while it was being written to. When I plugged it back in, CrystalDiskInfo reported 89 Current Pending & Uncorrectable Sectors. I quickly plugged in the other drive and started backing it up right away.
My basic question is: can anything be done to fix this? Perhaps Zero-filling the drive and/or running chkdsk /r?
