Hi all - long time reader, first time poster....

Nvidia GTX670 Not working, black screen on startup - can run in safe mode but won't work normally, have tried uninstalling drivers, rebooting, reinstalling and rebooting again.. Still won't work. %90 sure it's a problem with the GPU.

Not really sure what to do.. Please help if possible.. can provide more info if needed... thanks :)

Hello... 1) what OS?
2) Do you have a integrated GPU in your MB or CPU to normally boot to your OS with?

We can maybe do a better driver un-install from there for it... and get Windows to install a the basic VGA driver for it on boot. B /

Typically a GPU that OLD might need a Fan or Thermal paste maintenance... Booting into safe mode is still a good sign for it.

3) Another problem might be Windows could be switching the primary display from it or changing the output from the GPU too... plug into all the other connectors of the GPU as a test too, during the 'black screen"

Hey bud thanks for replying.

1: I'm running windows 7
2: Yes I do have an intergrated GPU in the MB - I think that it could be using this to boot into safe mode? (sorry not too sure if this is the right answer)
3: I tried that last night - plugging into other connectors, unplugged the GPU from its slot and plugged it back in again also..

I'm thinking that it could be the age of the GPU, she might have just died on me - but I'll try anything I can. Thanks again bud.
