I've been having this problem with crackling for a while with my onboard sound card - I have the Asus Z-170A (onboard soundcard). I cant seem to fix this crackling type of sound so i want to ask around for an equivalent external soundcard which give out the same if not a little better sound quality than the onboard soundcard (a soundcard which can compete with my onboard one). Would appreciate a range of opinions and choices for an External Sound card which i could use to get rid of this buzzing/crackling sound.

I cant fix this problem as i have made quiet a few posts before this, thus i have came to a conclusion that i should just get an external soundcard.
But then again i wish to ask if you can give your opinions on this buzzing sound and if by a chance it is fixable - or what type of information i should provide you with.
More information describing this buzzing sound can be found on my previous post which are linked bellow:

Please make any further comments on the current post instead of the old one.

Thank you for reading

I had this issue for years, and with different motherboards / PSU's. Nasty crackling, especialy when using USB mice. I tried everything you probably have and gave up. Did a bit of research and bought an ASUS Xonar U7 external USB soundcard, not sure what your budget is? the Xonar can be had for£60, I snagged mine for as fair bit less with some ebay lurking
