Terabyte USB Wifi Adapter getting loose

Terabyte USB Wifi Adapter with antena getting loose contact on USB port & other usb devises like my mobile getting connected to net easily as pendrives.

Does this cause due to repeated remove & inserting the adapter?

Either fault of port or wifi adapter or usb port? please clarify me in this issue soon.

Same adapter working on other cpu's usb ports easily well.

The physical fit of the plugs and ports can and does vary.

And the connection can loosen over time with wear and tear. Does not take much to bend, twist, or otherwise deform the metal ends.

So yes - constant removing and inserting the adapters will eventually cause problems. And most USB plugs and ports are made with very thin weak metal.

The way to find out is to try one plug in several USB ports - if the plug is always loose then it is probably the plug.

And then try several plugs in one USB port. If all of the USB plugs are loose in one port then the USB port is the problem

You might be able to overcome some loose connection by using a short USB extension cable that just happens to fit tighter on which ever end (plug or...

Just be sure that whatever you use matches or exceeds the USB specifications being used. Otherwise you may end up with slower USB speeds.
