So I plan to upgrade my cpu to either AMD FX 8350 or AMD A10-7850K, but I can't decide which one i should go for. If anyone could help me with deciding (feel free to suggest some other CPUs if you want), I would appreciate it.

Oh ok, already have a 1060 perfect.

Then yeah I would go with your current plan of Ryzen 1500.

If you can stretch budget I would get 16gb now.
For one it wont be long until 16gb is needed for gaming and more importantly adding a stick latter is always risky as you can wind up with sticks that dont work well together. Ram is sold is in kits because the sticks are made from the same sheet of silicone and tested together to be error free. Two completley separate sticks always have a risk of being unstable.

if youre strictly going for those two cpus, defintely the 8350. exact same single threaded performance but much higher multi core performance due to having the 4 extra cores.

BUT, i recommend the ryzen 1500x since it still has the same amount of threads as the 8350 yet performs significantly better in single threaded applications and if im correct the multi core performance is identical across the two (using cinebench r15 as a benchmark).
definitely worth the extra $$$

edit: for the fx 8350 to match the ryzen 1500x in multi core requires the fx cpu to be at 5ghz compared to the 1500x being at 3.5ghz.

Well what i plan to do with my pc is mostly playing games and livestreaming at the moment. For the budget i'd prefer for it to be $300 highest, and I am from Croatia.

Both of those cpus are poor choices in 2017 and they are completely differnet platforms (as in they use completely different motherboards).

Do you currently have a PC because it is just not possible to build a new one from scratch on $300, at least one that can play games.

Actually I do have a pc already, but i planned to just get the new motherboard and cpu, and just put the old stuff to the new motherboard. But now that I gave it some thought, i might be going for the ryzen 1500x.

Ok good, I hoped you already had a PC to reuse.

Upgrading to any modern platform will require new memory as well.
I would not really bother with X serries for AMD, does not provide enough benefit for its costs, after all they are all overclockable.

If you dont need a new GPU then $300 should be enough but if you do need a new video card then that is still going to be tough to do on $300.
The Ryzen 1500 is better in multi-core benchmarks but another option to reduce costs would be a pentium g4560 build with b250 board and 8gb ram. That will run you $200 USD (not sure about local prices/currency). Then you could get a $150 GPU to go with it. This setup with say a gtx 1050 ti will be good for any game on medium to high settings at 1080p.

The Ryzen + a GTX 1060 or RX 580 will be good for ultra at 1080p.

Well I already have a GTX 1060, so upgrading my video card should be a problem. Regarding the RAM though, I'm sure 8gb 2400mhz ddr4 will be good for the start until i get enough money for another RAM stick.

You can also wait for Ryzen 3. But I'd definitely recommend the 1500x and a decent motherboard.
The MSI Pro-VDH is a decent budget board. But the 1500x + mobo will probably set you back 300$. especially if you don't have any good retailers nearby and you need to factor in the cost of shipping :/
