Before delidding my 4770k, my EVGA gtx 1080 Ti (FE blower-style cooler) idle temp sat around 35C and after delidding it has now risen to 50-53C. I have absolutely no clue what could have caused anything to change GPU temps because nothing else was altered other than the CPU (which works fine, idle temps around 30C, no OC yet). The only thing I saw that was different on boot was the BIOS flashed a notification that a new CPU had been recognized (standard when delidding or just removing CPU and putting back in socket) and that the boot drive (Samsung EVO SSD) needed to be repaired/cleaned up. I exited the BIOS without making any changes and let the system "check" the boot drive. Everything else seemed to exactly the same after the first boot except for the GPU temp (it's on fire at idle). Also, its not the ambient temp in my room, it's been the same throughout this entire process before and after. Any ideas for troubleshooting?
