Hi, in the process of making a brand new PC, however when I boot it I get a small cluster of white pixels in the top left a corner (I assume a distorted Asus logo) and then the screen turns to black and this is all.

When looking at the motherboard, the EZ Debug led for "boot" is constant on red and another led called "GPU led" is also constant red. I find this odd as the GPU has a white led on to display power is connected correctly and even the rgb logo and fans are working. I also know that Ryzen CPUs require a GPU to post so it has lead me to the conclusion that it is most likely the GPU.

I have tried isolating just about all parts, clearing the cmos(with a screwdriver, no jumper and also removing the battery), trying different pcie slots and 8pin connectors with no luck.

I am using a Ryzen 1600 CPU with an ASUS RX 570 Strix on a MSI B350 PC Mate motherboard. The psu is a Corsair TX 550 Gold with 8gb (2 sticks) Hyperx DDR4 2400 ram.

Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated, thanks.
