hello guyz i am using precision x osd to monitor my ingame temps but if i launch a game via steam osd just doesnt work. if i launch the game from the local files it works without a problem. but for example for cs go if i launch from the local files outside of the steam it says that it is in insecure mode so cant play competetive. or if i launch Pubg outside of the steam it just doesnt load the game stays on the lobby forever. if u have any alternative osd for temperatures that works fine with steam i can use that too not a big fan of precision x

Solution
Yeah I switched from EVGA's PrecisionX to MSI Afterburner about four years ago and have never looked back after having problems with the OSD displaying in recorded Steam games. The original RivaTuner developer (Alexey Nicolaychuk) left Nvidia and went to MSI to develop Afterburner which has his patented OSD program that EVGA effectively copied and stole. There was a big brew-haha about that years ago.

Admirable
I also recommend you to switch to MSI afterburner, but for the records, most of those problems are caused by the steam overlay (the one that comes out when you use shift+tab), disable it on your steam preferences if you have that kind of problems.
