All of my passmark scores are at avg for the piece or above. I get 60 fps in 1080p but for some reason my heaven benchmarks are always very subpar...is heaven not a good option to see?

Solution
try / use this

https://www.techpowerup.com/download/futuremark-3dmark-timespy/

then you can use the advanced score search to see where you stand with your cpu and gpu from other users

[example ] say you did the firestrike 1080p basic run and this was your cpu and gpu [ make sure the number of GPUs are set and not look at SLI scores and you got a single card to check scores]

http://www.3dmark.com/search#/?mode=advanced&url=/proxycon/ajax/search/cpugpu/fs/P/1614/1033/500000?minScore=0&cpuName=Intel Core i5-4670&gpuName=NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti

nothing wrong with heaven but its getting old and not any good way to check valid results out

Solution
Heaven is perfectly fine if you take it on it's own, for entertainment purposes, perhaps comparing to other Heaven scores, and not trying to use it as a metric to gauge anything else. Stand alone benchmarks such as Heaven can only tell you how the equipment performs with that benchmark. If you want to know how Doom is going to perform on your setup, you need to benchmark Doom, not Heaven. If you want to know how Minecraft will perform on your setup, Heaven won't be applicable here either.

Also, like most games, Heaven has different settings you can run it using. If you want Heaven to run faster, turn down some of the details.

Thats just it my heaven scores are about half of the other 1080 posts. but my pass mark measured good..i am wondering if i have an issue

ya, that's kinda what I like with 3dmark scores you can use the custom/advanced and enter your CPU and vid card you use and see just them results pre test you run and the amount of cards used single 2, 3 or 4

these guys try to look out for ''fixed'' scores and only except them under there guide lines so there pretty more trusting to be honest [???]

https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/threads/unigine-heaven-4-benchmark.18487976/

but 3dmark has it so simple to use and find scores to your like hardware used
