2nd card not recognized

I recently bought a 2nd gtx 1080 strix(one is a tad bit larger but still the same card) When I power on the computer both card light up but only one is synced to what I want it to be. I went into device manager not a single thing is showing up except for the other gtx 1080. I have 2 sli bridges connecting them together right now and both are receiving power. I have reinstalled the drivers multiple times and have also constantly checked for changes to the nvidia control panel to see if it finally recognized the card but it has not. I was wondering if anyone had input as to what the problem may be...

It is an msi godlike gaming carbon and yes it has support for sli. Also still doesnt show up in hidden devices under device manager.

Right now it is in the 1st and 4th slot. 2nd/3rd slot is too close for the two gpus and the 5th would interfere with my cpus aio water cooler tubing.

I guess i can try to put it in the 2nd slot which i know works but the card will suffocate basically or not even fit

I fixed this a while ago I just needed to reseat the gpus and it worked fine.
