Hey Iv'e done research and apparently with my graphics card i should be getting about 60-70 fps in GTA V but I'm getting about 20-40 fps.

-EVGA 1060 3G FTW
-A10 7800
-430WATT (MIGHT BE THE ISSUE)
-8G RAM (ALSO MIGHT BE AN ISSUE)

Make sure it's using the 1060 and not the built-in graphics chip on your A10. AMD A-series processors are APUs; they combine a CPU and a GPU on one chip. The built-in GPU is usually far weaker than any modern dedicated GPU.

But i was told that most FPS comes from the GPU and it's driving me crazy! I'm not even getting half of the FPS I'm supposed to get with my GPU!

FPS only comes from the GPU after the frames have been processed by the CPU. The CPU tells the GPU what to render; you get better FPS if your GPU can render the frames it gets from the CPU faster. If the CPU is feeding frames to the GPU slower than the GPU is expecting, you get lag.

Tl;dr Your GPU is capable of 0xINFINITY FPS, but your CPU is only capable of 60 FPS, and even then it has to be on medium or even low settings.

I was being generic when I said 60FPS lol. After looking over the options for an FM2+ socket, your best option would be to upgrade to an AM3+ motherboard and an FX chip, if not an AM4 and Ryzen or a modern Intel setup. If you can't afford that much of an upgrade, I'd advise getting the Athlon X4 880K. It's 4.0GHz (4.2GHz turbo), which is 0.5GHz faster than your A10, and it doesn't have to share its input power with a GPU chip.

Alright so let's say if i get this https://www.amazon.com/AMD-FD8350FRHKBOX-FX-8350-8-Core-Processor/dp/B009O7YUF6/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1497827293&sr=1-1&keywords=AMD+X8+FX-8350

AND https://www.amazon.com/MSI-970-GAMING-DDR3-Motherboard/dp/B00LUY72F6/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1497827343&sr=1-2&keywords=am3+motherboard

Will that finally give me "much" of a better performance than what I'm getting now?
Because Iv'e been spending a lot of money on different parts that never done much improvement.

And to reinstall windows I'll just have to contact microsoft? Is there a code or something they need to verify so i'll know to have it?
And all i need is an external hard drive..

And is there a good 100-200$ FM2 CPU because i feel like switching a motherboard is a lot of trouble..

Did your computer come with Windows preinstalled? If not, just reinstall it with the disc; the product key should be on the packaging. If it did come preinstalled, there should be a sticker somewhere on the computer case with the product key on it; alternatively, you can find it in the registry.

Alright and I'm sorry that I'm asking so many questions but i was wondering if i backup only the important files that i need on a USB will i be able to reinstall them back? And what do you mean by data? Apps and files ect.?

And the thing is idk if it's worth it to have to reinstall windows and all my apps and files just for a CPU... But when i look at games and such or steam iv'e got ALL the recommended PC parts except the CPU and I'm getting pretty bad performance... does the CPU has that much affect on games?

The reason you want to reinstall when you upgrade hardware is because when you first install Windows it makes a list of your components and knows what to do with them. Changing the hardware can cause Windows to perform poorly because it's still working off that list it made when you first installed it.

Your data is all the files you want to keep. If you copy them to a USB stick, you will be able to put them back on the machine after you reinstall Windows; however, getting a USB stick with enough storage space could wind up costing almost as much as the new processor.

Alright for the past few days Iv'e been looking at a FX-8350 AND MSI 970 motherboard.
But.. until i get that it might take some time and i don't feel like waiting for that long because i need an upgrade now. So i was considering that Athlon X4 880K u mentioned which I'll be able to get right away but idk how much of better performance it'll give me... I'm just tired of keeping on buying parts which don't give much of a better performance than I'm already getting...
