if the bios is not up to date then you cant update the bios as it will not boot

you would be stuck with a non-working paper weight

and would need to buy an old cpu to boot, to update the bios XD





you can talk to gigabyte themselves to make sure it has bios F3 standard on that mobo

Thanks! But can you direct me to a tutorial as to how to update a motherboard, if the 'board isn't already up to date? By the ways, thanks on the speedy response!

Yes, but you must have the right bios version for it to even work. Is it supported from the first version?
