Hey guys so I noticed that my CPU i5 6500 cooled by a 212 Evo with 2 Noctua NF-F12 Fans runs at 25-34ºC when gaming when I have my RAM set to 2133Mhz, when I activate XMP Profile to get them to 2666Mhz, my CPU runs hotter, getting up to 45ºC when gaming. Is this normal? Is there a way to overclock my RAM and still getting lower temps on my CPU?

45c is considered in the idle range lol. But the reason why the temps go up slightly is because the XMP profile changes the parameters of the CPU. usually a bump in system agent voltage and ring ratio cache to match the memory speeds better.
