Hello,

Recently I had to reinstall this game. I installed the games using a disc copy that I purchased from Bestbuy. FYI: Have proof of purchase, so it was not a stolen game.

The installation went smoothly as far as I can tell. As soon as the game started it said my keys were unbound, so I corrected them. After that I proceeded to start the game in story mode, and the game crashed. I tried this several times, Same thing happened.

I deleted the files in the local folder as well as my documents, Still crashed.
Updated video card, ran as administrator. Problem persists.

Not sure what the issue was, I did not have this issue when I originally bought the game and installed it.
Nothing seems to fix it.

Please let me know what can resolve this issue.

Reinstalling Windows is a valid potential solution, don't brush it off as ridiculous. That said, I agree that we're not at that stage yet. You said you deleted the files in the local folder; did you do that manually or through Steam? If you have the Steam version, but did it manually, there could be some files elsewhere in the Steam folders that didn't get deleted and are causing the issue to persist.

I guess I brushed it off because that's a lot to do and Its not a gauruntee it would actually fix the issue.
I do not have it through stream. I have a retail discs.

And a CD key, correct? You should see if you can register that key in Steam; it'll make fixing this kind of error a breeze in the future.

For now, open up your Control Panel (in Win10, right-click on the Start button to find it) and go to "Programs and Features." Find GTA V in the list and uninstall it properly, then reinstall it and see if the issue persists.

P.S. I'm not sure why you picked my previous post as the solution.

Should I reinstall it and see if I can register the key in steam? Because just reinstalling it probably wont work, I have done that twice since this problem started.
