Upgrade some parts or save for a new box?

So this computer is about 4 years old. No OC on it just stock everything. I've been bit by the upgrade bug. I had to swap out a failed power supply recently and that's what sparked wanting to upgrade. I play in 1080 on my monitor not really looking at upgrading to 4k or anything fancy in the near future. Games of choice are ARK right now, with some shooter games here and there. Ark has to be played on low settings and I'd love to see what it can really be like. Only looking to upgrade the parts, no need for mouse, keyboard,OS or anything.

MOBO: ASRock Z77 Extreme4 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6BG/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
VIDEO CARD: GeForce GTX 670 2GB
PROCESSOR: Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge Quad Core 3.4 GHz
RAM: G.Skill Sniper Series 8GB (2x4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600

Also have a 1 TB WD and a 2 TB Seagate running, no SSD at this time.
Power Supply is a 800watt Soly Tech? I took it from another computer when mine died.

Ideally I'd only like to drop a couple hundred if I can upgrade anything worthwhile, if I need to save up for a few months or so that's fine too. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

It's hard to make a recommendation because really I think if you overclock the CPU you could milk it a couple more years and upgrade your gpu but then you would have to upgrade everything later. The gpu you would need would be around $200-250. A gtx 1060 or Rx 580 would be good.
