Hi everyone!. I'm building my first gaming PC after 6 years of my last one.

I'll keep the current Power Supply, Case, and HDDs. They'll be fine.

All i just want to know: Will these parts work correctly together?.

So, here's the list of components that i will buy very soon:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1500X 3.5GHz-3.7GHz
Motherboard: GA-AB350M-Gaming 3
Memory: 2x8GB G.Skill Flare X 3200Mhz
Video Card: Sapphire RX 580 8GB Nitro+

So, that's it!. Now, some things that i know are:

- The Motherboard needs a BIOS update, to support Ryzen 5 processors. I got that.
- I need to configure manually the RAM sticks through BIOS settings to get those 3200MHz.
- I won't do Crossfire neither SLI.
- My PSU has the 6-pin and 8-pin required for that graphics card.
- The Memory is on the QVL of the Motherboard.

Am i right?. Am i forgetting something?

Thanks for your responses.

It will indeed, just wanted to make sure you weren't using a 6+ year old PSU especially if it was lower quality. Good luck with the upgrade!

Build looks good, may i ask what Power Supply you intend on using? It may have the appropriate connectors but if it isn't a good quality Power Supply i would have to advise you get a new one with the build if it's 6+ years old. Other than that, the parts will work fine together and you seem to have done prior research into what you need which is good. Hope this helps :)

Hi, thanks! and yes, this is my current PSU, i bought it 1-2 years ago:
PSU: Thermaltake TR2 TR-600
According to the PSU Calculator from Outervision.com. I think it'll do the work just fine.
