Hi guys.

I was considering whether I want to invest a decent power computer or nah because of my "Old" pc is not that powerful.

Below lists are my pc specs now.

CPU: i7 920@2.67 GHZ (Socket 1366 LGA)
MOBO: RAMPAGE III Black Edition
GPU: Asus R9 290 DirectCU II
RAM: HyperX DDR3 8GB
Monitor : AOC 2343 (60Hz)

Is my computer decent enough? Any hardware should I replace/upgrade?

It isn't going to be horrible performance but that CPU is now seven years old and is past due replacement. I don't think it is worthwhile putting just a new CPU in the system and I would be looking at buying CPU/Motherboard/RAM as the 290 is still capable enough at 1080p for now.

I should add I assume you're looking at a new gaming PC. However even general productivity tasks my advice would be look at the CPU if you feel the PC is slow.
Decent enough for what? What you're using it for, and how much you care about whether it's fast (do you use it for work; does ten seconds faster rendering times earn you more money), that kind of stuff can determine whether a $200 Chromebook is fine, or you want to spend $3k+ on a monster.

An SSD is a cheap upgrade that tends to make things feel faster. Another 8GB of RAM, too - given that is a 3-channel memory controller, you may want to go to 12GB or 24GB and load each channel equally.

That's still a pretty fast PC otherwise.
